INTERNATIONAL WATERS (06/07/2018) - CARD & UPDATES
News is now coming in thick and fast for Riptide: International Waters - to be held Friday 6th July.
The event itself was announced alongside news of the first bout - a mouthwatering contest between the always-entertaining Chris Brookes and Japanese star Naoki Tanizaki.
A subsequent tweet from Riptide revealed that Walter vs 'Speedball' Mike Bailey would join what already seems to be shaping up as an awesome card.
As part of Spike Trivet being given a Brighton Championship Tournament (BCT) Qualifier at the Riptide Rumble, it was also announced that Damon Moser & Chris Ridgeway will get an opportunity to qualify at International Waters. Their opponents have just recently been announced as Toni Storm & Bea Priestley, both of whom return to Riptide after a while away.
After an absolute war against David Starr at the Rumble, Jack Sexsmith gets a deserved shot at qualifying for the BCT as he takes on much anticipated debutante and WWE tournament participant Jordan Devlin.
Spoiler alert, Chuck Mambo won the Rumble! Wahey! However, his 'buddy' Eddie Dennis returned during the celebrations with a proposition - Mambo puts his BCT spot on the line against him at this event - all in the name of good sportsmanship of course.
So desperate was Flash Morgan Webster to be in the Rumble, he assaulted Charlie Morgan and stole her entry spot. Not to be outdone though, Charlie returned later in the match to assist in eliminating Flash. From almost nowhere this has turned into a really bitter feud - who is the better Morgan - and will it be settled one way or another here at International Waters?
The Aussie Open Challenge is back! Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis will be returning to Riptide after a few months absence. Opponents to be announced on the night.
The final addition to the card, announced just this weekend, is a seven-person scramble with a BCT spot on the line - between Cara Noir, Millie McKenzie, Adam Brooks (debut), Jinny, Lykos, Veda Scott, and Lucky Kid (debut).
