BLACK WATER (02/11/2018) - CARD & UPDATES

Riptide recently revealed that their upcoming show on the 2nd of November will be entitled "Black Water"

The initial Black Water took place in December of last year, so it looks like this may become an annually recurring event for the promotion.

Legendary film director Alfred Hitchcock once said "The more successful the villain, the more successful the picture" and in the realms of wrestling I can't think of a better example of this than Spike Trivet in Riptide. From the early days of the promotion Spike quickly became the most hated man in the building, mixing his questionable political beliefs with his penchant for hiring mercenaries to do his dirty work. His obsession with crushing all in his path, in particular Jack Sexsmith, has become one of the central narratives told across the Riptide catalogue so far. RIPTIDE RECAP: BRIGHTON CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

Well that was one hell of a weekend huh!  Riptide put on an incredible three nights of intense, action-packed, emotional, edge-of-the-seat wrestling, and we got to see the very first Brighton Champion crowned!
